Sent this steering wheel insert for aquaprinting.
Here they applied the first layer. I am very satisfied with it.
However, due to the technology, a lacquer coat is required, which darkened the 'wood' and shifted it towards red color. The main trim now looks unnaturally new and glossy.
I rubbed it down with sandpaper and it became much more harmonious.
The plastic handbrake was also wrapped in wood.
Door panel inserts also need restoration, but everything has its time. In summer, the car should be roadworthy — every day I want to go for a drive.
