So! The first thing to do is to acquire all the components for installation.
1-rotary switch on the steering wheel (guitar)
2-on/off button
3-control module
4-stop signal switch (frog)
5-throttle pedal bracket
6-cable
7-vacuum activator
8-vacuum valve
9-vacuum hoses
The second thing (which is very pleasing) is that all the wiring and connectors are already built into the car. Just plug in everything.
Now, what goes where, from where... photos and comments on the installation process.
dismantle the space around the steering wheel
on the left side of the speaker we see a free blue connector for the button
in the support of the gas pedal find the connector for the control module
place the module in the support under the fuse box, secure and connect it
remove the frog and install one with 4 contacts (very annoying). In theory, you can leave the old one but need to organize two wires through an additional relay.
here is where we put the frog
further, work on the gas pedal. Unscrew the bracket
peel off the coating in this area
screw back the bracket and mark the spot for drilling, remove everything again and drill a hole for the cable (I think it's about 12mm)
further there was an issue with securing the cable.
there was no rubber piece
thanks to friends who helped with the size of this rubber piece
had to make one out of two tubes and seal it with silicone sealant
as well as create a hook for the cable shaft.
a bit homemade but reliable
assemble all, pass the cable through the hole and secure
further remove the steering wheel cover (it's better to completely unscrew it so that the wheel can be lowered), remove the wheel, and change our six-string guitar to a seven-string one
on the cruise control guitar there will be an additional 3-pin connector. Insert it here-into the green socket
All work in the cabin is done, put everything back together, and move under the hood
under the hood we see our cable that we passed through the previously drilled hole
attach the vacuum activator to the cable and secure it
secure the valve on the tube of the support. The mark ACT - for the activator, VAC - connected via a tee to the vacuum line.
And further lay out the vacuum hoses (I can't find any pictures now. I will add later)
Check everything.
To everyone good luck!
