After trying out the highway with my new Skyline brakes, any doubts about their braking efficiency were eliminated. They brake much better than standard ones, but the pedal effort is quite high. You have to press very hard. As I mentioned earlier, I bought a GTM with a vacuum booster from a hundredth Touring car.

I postponed its installation for a long time, waiting for a less busy day in case of unexpected problems during installation. During this time, I found out good news that it fits perfectly by the bolt holes. Today I finally decided to install it. Removed my GTM rather quickly. Access from the cabin is not particularly difficult; you just need to remove the lower panel.

As it stands now, it won't fit due to the large turbo reservoir that also has two unnecessary ABS outlets in my case. Since the volume of the tank doesn't matter, I simply moved my tank onto the new GTM; fortunately, they are absolutely identical by mounting points (the Japanese really please with their standardization). Also, I had to replace the pedal-mounting bracket and bend one brake hose by hand (on the original GTM there is an outlet on top, on the Touring car model both are left-sided). And voilà!

Now we tighten everything needed, connect the brake system tubes and vacuum hose, bleed it and go for a test drive.
To say that it's better would be to understate. This is simply heaven and earth, pure joy. Now all eight pistons in front are grabbing brake discs with full force. If before a lot of pedal effort was required, now it's minimal. You even have to watch out not to press too hard as the wheels can lock up easily. I am very satisfied. Highly recommend this device to owners of 80K cars with their terrible brakes; even on standard ones you'll feel the difference. And the price for it is quite low.
It took only three hours altogether, and that was not in a hurry at all!
Cost: 1500 rubles
