On the windows - there are nuances.

-the front window is glued and can be carefully cut with a string.

However, in doing so, clips that hold the chrome suffer — but there's a set available for purchase.

Then it is installed like a regular glass in modern cars. In the worst-case scenario, there is a place where they make this (they have a template) and send it across the country.

-the rear one sits in a seal that often falls apart when removed (45 years of service :) ). For such cases, there is a new seal for replacement, but it's slightly expensive :). If you're lucky — the old one will fit.

Both the front and rear need to carefully remove chrome (actually it's polished stainless steel) without bending — just don't rush, and follow a certain sequence of actions.

Before installing the rear window, the roof interior should be pulled tight (if removed).

The seal for the rear must be installed with non-drying black polyurethane sealant — dry installation won’t work!

You can use sealant BODY-940 or butyl sealant DINITROL 460
