Completed an internship on installing GAZ shock absorbers on my Cedric (didn't want to wait 50 days for the original). Perfect fit from GAZ 3310, took oil-filled ones for a softer feel + got some polyurethane.
The only problem is the lower mounting of the shock to the bridge. Solved it this way: hammered out (welded out) the bushing from the original, made it 3.7 cm long (so that I could clamp it), made a set - bolt, 2 washers on 12, one washer on 12 of larger diameter, shock absorber, one washer on 12 of larger diameter, 2 washers on 12.
