Good morning dear friends! Continuing the storyp0430… chronology of events. There was an error with the right catalytic converter (ineffective work). Ordered electronic defeat devices, removed the error once a day using Carista. Went on a long trip for 1000km. Filled up with premium gasoline and set off. I thought that the catalysts would get clogged, well, give it some time and it will pass. The error indeed disappeared, but after 170 km of travel, the car started to misfire, reading online — ignition misfires on the right side, all four cylinders. Okay, let's continue driving. At 550 km into the trip, the car completely refused to go uphill, it happened near Miass in the mountains. Took a break, slept, and the car cooled down. Turned around back home and drove at a cruising speed of 50 km/h, half on battery power. Pressing the pedal to the floor, the car shakes heavily and errors appear. Stressful. Arrived home by night. Over the following two weeks, I was self-treating. As before, counted errors, read on Drive or asked in groups and found a cause. Swapped spark plugs around, different sensors, tried different gasoline and so forth. Decided to replace the front lambda sensor; as a side note, reaching it from the top is quite a hassle. Removed it, brought a guy with an endoscope to look at the catalytic converter and we discovered that there was no upper catalytic converter…phantom pain? It's complaining about its absence when it isn't there. Although I thought it would be there and proud of having 240+ miles on the original catalytic converter. Thought the seller had knocked it out and sold it to a dealer who then sold it to me. That maybe the firmware had crashed, etc. Engaged in self-treatment, methodically dismantling half the car. Friends watching as I struggled day by day advised going to acquaintances for diagnostics. So. Time is right. Let's meet, diagnose. Misfires on the right side head. Replaced spark plugs (they had 70,000 km on them) and while at it, asked to check the lower catalytic converter, there…trash. The upper one had crumbled and completely blocked the lower one; the car couldn't breathe, trying to breathe through where I had replaced the rings. Because of this, there was no power. Decision — cut out. The most interesting part is that the driver's side, both the upper and lower catalytic converters are in perfect condition. Removed everything. Upper ones were hacked off barbarically with a crowbar. All into a bag for recycling. Got 22₽ total; even spark plugs didn't cover costs (( Oh well. Installed flame arrestors instead of the lower ones. Started, stable operation. A day later I was already driving to Abkhazia — but that's another story) everyone have a great summer
