Over time, the attachments on plastic parts can fall off, and it's easy to lose them. Old plastic becomes fragile. The solution is to make new attachments.

It's highly desirable to print legs for bolts on a 3D printer for this purpose.

Now you can glue them with epoxy, cleaning the plastic of chrome beforehand for better adhesion.

If using epoxy - it’s advisable to reinforce with fiberglass cloth

But due to vibrations, there is still a chance of loss over time. Therefore, another good solution is to use windscreen glazing compound (e.g., TIRASON). Only make sure to apply the primer first. It holds well, so nothing will fall off from vibration.
