Who cleans carbon deposits on valves? Usually, I clean them mechanically, using a drill attachment and moving forward. But when I delved into the topic of why valves are black, I realized that this is blueing of metal, and mechanical cleaning damages it. Therefore, I decided to try chemical cleaning method. I've never done this before, but I got genuine enthusiasm at how easy and simple it is to do.

1. Go to a hardware store and buy plumbing cleaner based on hydrochloric acid. There are plenty of them, take the cheapest one. And rubber gloves too.

2. In a container arrange the valves in one level and pour them with chemicals until the point where we have carbon deposits.

3. Wait for 3-5 minutes.

4. Take out one by one, simply wash them thoroughly with a cloth in a bucket of water.

5. That's basically it.

If the carbon deposits are stuck very strongly, you can repeat the process and use an old toothbrush.

Good luck to everyone and less carbon deposits on your valves!

before...and after. The difference is noticeable. The coating has not been damaged
