Those driving X30-40 clearly feel the lack of brakes plus pedal effort incomparable to modern cars. The main reason is the ineffective booster and vacuum pump. It was decided to improve this aspect. SKAJDriver, having gone through this path, pointed me in the right direction.

A booster with a vacuum pump from a 30th turbo Soarer was bought from a scrap yard for peanuts. It fits our car with minimal modifications. Only the length of the plunger needs to be adjusted so that the pedal is in the correct position. Plus, we need to discard the stock regulator as it's inside the Soarer's booster. And connect the level indicator plug.

In terms of braking feel, this is the most noticeable improvement, I couldn't stop smiling on the first day. The pedal feels very soft and the car stops much better than before. When I pressed it for the first time, my nose almost hit the steering wheel.
