Reason: topic
So I was walking on a Purcake, and noticed an integration that looked very familiar. Of course, the owner is there, so I went up to the store where evil tuners tried to persuade me to buy tires...but of course, I left without anything but still had the urge to buy something, then I came across a Russian store...and it reminded me of how recently my hood hit me in the head, so I decided that it's time to change it finally. I bought the rear trunk shock absorber for the VAZ 2131 NIVA, which is supposedly similar to what's on a VAZ 2108...

by the way 0 D : ) those who read the forum topic will understand the reference)
I immediately went online and remembering that my question was lying at the club forum with facts, xetloq bombarded me with pictures, while igorich even bothered to use a search (I was really too lazy! ), without much thought I went to the car and removed the original shock absorbers

(a 12mm socket or short head is needed, but I didn't need heads because the cruise control actuator was in the way, which would have been difficult to remove, so you should free up as much space as possible with a head)
I decided to cut the old shock off the bracket...I managed to cut it off, but the pin wouldn't come out, so it's better to drill. For this I took a 5.5mm drill bit, which is easier and works instantly, then I used a 6.7mm drill bit for the same hole and chased the thread with an M8 tap...

basically everything is ready for installation, continue using the same tool but sized at 13 to tighten it all up, don't forget to bend back the hook that was resting on the fender

! Standing position almost anywhere...can be called pure ecstasy :)
