Today I will tell you what is needed for installing a brace from the GT version. For this, we need the brace itself, a body mount bracket, mounting bolts, and vacuum system tubing. I acquired the brace half a year ago at a very low price. It was taken off a chaser 1ggte cut-down. The seller sold it to me without a mount bracket.

And then came the search for the mount bracket. It lasted four months until I stumbled upon a 1jz-gte cut-down by accident. To be precise, it was just the body left from it. After carefully examining the photos, I took the photo and the vacuum tube. I contacted the seller. We exchanged messages for five days, he couldn't understand what I wanted at all. Finally, he sent me the tube and bracket.
Let's talk about the vacuum system tubing of 81 body style. There are three types of tubes available.

the first version with a valve from 1ggte, second standard, third from 1jzgte.

For installation, the standard one does not fit as it hits the brace. We should be interested in versions 1 and 3. In my case, it's from 1jzgte. I didn't have mounting bolts so had to buy them. Ordered three pieces 91622-B1020. Now almost done, just need to buy Masuma clips kj-335 four pieces, kj-1027 one piece, kj-303 two pieces. You will have to disassemble the air intake where the plastic bracket is installed. The clips there degrade over time.

To secure the mount bracket to the body it's necessary to enlarge the holes to match the flanges of the bracket as shown in the photo.
