As is known, the JZX81 is equipped with a rear stabilizer, but it somehow magically disappeared long ago! I was lucky to get a front stabilizer from a Forester SF. The stabilizer mounted to the subframe at the stock locations with minor modifications; a plate needs to be made over the bushing, the factory bolt welded to the subframe must be removed, and the plate "moved" through the subframe and connected with Toyota bolts. I had to choose links as well. Initially, I measured the rear ones from a bucket, but when the suspension was compressed, the links touched the stabilizer. Then I bought Subaru 'P'-shaped ones, connected them with Toyota boltsand it didn't work out, — they broke. In the end, I installed 'G'-shaped ones from a Prado (I think), and secured them in the hole in the arm; I had to slightly enlarge this hole with a good drill bit. This is an ideal solution. The sensations are mixed; on one hand, handling is excellent, but on the other hand, it can be hard to start moving when one of the rear wheels tends towards being off the ground (for example, when you drive over a curb!), but this issue will be resolved by locking or welding!
