After replacing the engine, as with many others, the tachometer did not work. There are a couple of ways to get it running.
The first one — disassemble the instrument panel and rewiring the resistor at the input, usually you set it with twice the nominal value and everything works. The first time I did it this way, but this time I didn't want to disassemble the instrument panel and decided to try the second method
The second method — run the signal through the relay coil.

The relay is ordinary, we are interested only in the contacts of the coil


It is necessary to remove from the connector extra contacts, leaving only those that connect to the relay coil.


This is how my tachometer looks with the engine running, i.e., it does not work
