Recently bought an interesting polishing foam called wizard and decided to try it out on cleaning the front bumper. Took it apart down to the last screw, was amazed at how diverse a set of materials it is made of. In the end, the chrome part is on the table. I start cleaning it. At first, it seemed impossible to clean, there were thoughts about re-chroming or seeking help from others to get advice on solving this problem. But in the end, getting angry, I started scrubbing very hard, as if polishing an old frying pan with sand), and results began to appear. In the end, I used almost the entire can of foam, but the result was very pleasing; the bumper looked renewed. However, a lot of effort and time were spent on this, about 3 hours.

Then I decided to clean the radiator and the crossmember, and that's when I realized how effective it is. A small piece of foam was enough for the crossmember and radiator to shine like a mirror. There was an intense chemical reaction, the dirt literally boiled. And then I understood that this foam is made in America for polished aluminum and stainless steel. Using it as intended, one can use this can of foam for many years. But for chrome, you need to find something more effective.

Still, 40-year-old Japanese chrome IS THE REAL DEAL!

The foam also impressed me. It's great for cleaning under the hood, exhausts, moldings, and already cleaned chrome.
