On a beautiful morning, I noticed that the exhaust was coming out more from one pipe than the other and became curious about this issue. When I removed the rear mufflers, there were holes as usual (the ailment of all ls). I sat looking at the prices of new mufflers and realized it would be very expensive! It's hard to find good used ones. I decided to cut them open and see what was still alive and what was dead. After cutting the mufflers down to a skeleton, I understood that even the clamps had reached their end. I thought for a long time about what to do... The solution came a week later. I shot-blasted the mufflers both inside and out and realized that the skeleton itself was completely alive; only the top part and the clamps had rotted away. After fixing the clamps, I painted the insides with thermocoating paint and started welding. I welded it using argon. The material is heat-resistant stainless steel 304. The result can be seen in the photo. It's been about 4 months since the repair—it works perfectly fine.
