I have already explained the essence of the modification.

Before the modification



Marking

Cut out a 1.6 cm strip of steel from the pole support with an angle grinder.
Note - we cut along the sides of the pole at an angle.
So that it's easier to weld the ends of the pole later, and most importantly, without much hassle to cut out stiffening ribs.
Do not throw away the cut pieces. They can be used as inserts for stiffening ribs on the edges.




After welding with a grinding disc on an angle grinder, carefully go over the welded seams and apply anti-corrosive coating.
Done. The height of the sample and my beam are now the same
